Use split screen in Safari on your iPad
Tap and hold on the GoodNotes app icon until it starts "lifting off" the screen. Then drag it to the side of the screen where it will open in a new window.

How to Use Procreate's Split Screen Feature
To move the Slide Over app, use the Multitasking button to drag it to the left or right. To turn a Slide Over app into a Split View app, tap the Multitasking button , then tap the Split View button . Or you can touch and hold the Multitasking button, then drag the app to the left or right edge of the screen.
How to Use Split View on an iPad (AKA Split Screen)
If the split screen is not working in iOS 11 on your iPad suddenly, restarting your iPad is the preferred fix to the issue. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button (Power button) until you see the slider, drag the slider to shut down your device and then press the same button to turn on your device seconds later.
On certain iPads, you can also resize Split View panes for a 50-50, 25-75, or 75-25 split in a horizontal orientation; when holding the tablet vertically, you'll only have the 25-75 or 75-25 options. 50-50: Each app takes up the same real estate on the iPad.
Split-screen view in iPadOS is restricted to landscape. Whilst you can activate the screen-rotation lock - and then rotate your iPad to Portrait orientation, this will not be particularly useful as Apps will still be locked in their relative screen orientation.
Split View allows you to run two apps side-by-side, and requires the newest iPad models. You'll need to be using either an iPad Pro, and iPad Air 2, or an iPad Mini 4 to use this feature. All other older iPad models will not work with Split View.
The main difference between Split View and Slide Over is how much screen real estate each app takes up while using multiple apps. They also differ in functionality, each being suited to different types of tasks. Split View displays two windows side by side with a black partition in the middle.
