Unhide photos on Mac
In the Photos app on your Mac, click Library in the sidebar. Choose View > Show Hidden Photo Album. The Hidden album appears in the sidebar. Select the photos you want to display, then choose Image > Unhide [number] Photos.
In the iMovie app on your Mac, select your photo library in the Libraries list. Click the pop-up menu at the top of the browser, choose a content category, and then scroll through the thumbnails of photos and video clips in that category. Select the photo or clip you want to use to see a preview in the viewer.
View a shared album
You can always unhide your hidden photos if you wish. In the menu bar, choose “View > Show Hidden Photo Album.” In the sidebar, select Hidden. Select the photo or video that you want to unhide.
View Hidden Files in Finder In Finder, you can click your hard drive under Locations, then open your Macintosh HD folder. Press Command + Shift + . (period) to make the hidden files appear. You can also do the same from inside the Documents, Applications, and Desktop folders.
View notifications in Notification Center in the upper-right corner of your screen, or swipe left with two fingers from the right edge of your trackpad. To view notifications that you missed, such as calendar alerts or FaceTime calls, click Notifications at the top of Notification Center.
Just press Command-O in your app, navigate to the file, select it, and click Open or press Return. If you want to view a file when you're in an Open dialog, you can select and it press the space bar to view it in Quick Look.
The most in-depth way to find a setting on your Mac is by searching within the macOS System Preferences app. To launch it, click the Apple icon in the upper-left corner of your screen, and select “System Preferences.”
Connect the device to your Mac. In Photos, choose File > Import, then select the items you want and click Review for Import. To set where to import the items, click the “Import to” pop-up menu and choose a location.
The photos are now removed from your main album and stashed in an album called "Hidden." To access them, go to the "Albums" tab of the Photos app. Then, scroll all the way down until you see "Hidden" listed in the "Utilities" section.
You can also find the Hide Photo command in the top menu under Photos, or you can use the keyboard shortcut Command-L. To unhide a photo, you can use the same keyboard shortcut or choose Unhide Photo from the Photos menu option.
To open it, click the blue smiley face on the left side of the Dock. If you can't see the Dock on your Mac, just move your mouse to the very bottom of the screen to make it appear. After opening a Finder window, take a look in the left sidebar for your USB drive.
