Each file can support up to 8 bits per pixel and can contain 256 indexed colors. GIF files also allow images or frames to be combined, creating basic animations.
GIFs are popular on blogs, social media, and instant messaging applications, often used as emotive reactions.

While it might be easy to set a GIF wallpaper on smartphones, Windows doesn't natively support this, so you must rely on third-party software.
Next up, from the pop-up that appears, select the “Live Photo” option under the “Save as” section. Then, select the “High” resolution option and tap the “Save” button. This step will convert your GIF into a live photo, which you can then use as a wallpaper on your iPhone.
