Set up Personal Hotspot
To set up a personal hotspot on your iPhone or iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular), go to Settings > Personal Hotspot > Allow Others to Join and toggle it to on (if you don't see Personal Hotspot in Settings, tap Cellular > Personal Hotspot).
Personal Hotspot lets you connect up to five other Wi-Fi enabled devices to the internet using your iPhone (also known as tethering). Before using Personal Hotspot, you should check whether your contract or internet Add-on includes tethering. You can find out more information about tethering on your phone here.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Bluetooth and make sure Bluetooth is on. Select the device providing Personal Hotspot, click Connect, then follow the onscreen instructions.
