Here's how to hide apps on iPhone Home screen using Settings.
Screen Time can hide certain built-in system apps but not those from third parties. Head to Settings > Screen Time, and then tap “Content and Privacy Restrictions.” Tap “Allowed Apps,” and then disable any core system apps you want to hide.
How to Hide Apps from your App Store History
Tap the dots near the bottom of your screen. Tap the circle under the page that you want to hide. Tap Done.
Tap and hold down (or long-press) on a blank area of your screen. When the widgets start to wiggle, tap the app page dot icons at the bottom of the screen. All your app pages will then appear on your screen. Click the circle with the check mark under the app page you want to hide, so that it is unchecked.
Use folders and pages inside the folders to hide apps To create an app folder on your iPhone or iPad Home Screen, touch an app icon until it starts jiggling. Now, drag this app icon over another app's icon to create a folder.
To do this in iOS 14, touch and hold any empty spot on the Home screen to enter jiggle mode. Then tap the lozenge around the dots that represent your Home screens. In the Edit Pages screen, tap the checkmark under any Home screen to hide it (or tap an empty circle to add a checkmark and show that Home screen).
Step 4: If you want to hide Stock Apps (like Safari, camera, and iTunes Store) on your iPhone X/8/8, toggle off the switch next to the App/Apps you'd like to hide. While if you want to hide the downloaded Apps on your iPhone X/8/7, scroll down to choose Apps under ALLOWED CONTENT section.
To hide apps from your iPhone's search results, go to Settings > Siri & Search. Then scroll down, tap the app's name, and turn off Show App in Search. You can also turn off all the other settings to stop the app from showing up anywhere on your phone.
To change your Allowed Apps:
Hide an iMessage app: Open a message, go to the three dot menu and choose Edit. Select minus button and choose Remove from Favorites. Hide an app from being seen: Open a message, go to three dot menu and select Edit. Under More Apps toggle off an app and select Done.
You can hide apps on your iPhone so they don't appear on your home screen or in search results.
As noted by iGeeksBlog, you can open the Settings app, tap “General,” then tap “Restrictions.” You'll need to enter or create a Restrictions passcode, and then after that, you can toggle off the preinstalled apps you want to hide in the “Allow” list.
