Apple iPhone - Delete Messages
Permanently Erase Deleted Messages on iPhone, Unrecoverable! Text messages, or any other data for that matter, are not really deleted from your system after you remove it in the usual manner. The data still remains in the memory that can be easily retrieved using various data recovery software.
On your iPhone:
To delete a single conversation, swipe left on the conversation that you want to delete.

Step 1: Open Messages App on your iPhone. Step 2: Open a conversation and find the message you'd like to delete. Step 3: Hold and press the message you'd like to delete and choose More. Step 4: Click the Trash icon and choose Delete Message to remove the message.

Tap and hold on a message until the menu pops up > Then tap More. Step 3. Now you can choose the items you want to delete, and then tap the trash icon. Or you can tap Delete All to remove them all.
Step 1: Tap the Messages icon. Step 2: Tap the text message thread containing the text message that you want to delete. Step 3: Press the Edit button at the top of the screen. Step 4: Tap the circle to the left of a text message that you want to delete, then press the Delete button at the bottom of the screen.
Tap and hold on the message you'd like to delete. Tap on "More" when the pop-up options appear. Tap on the dots next to any other messages you'd like to delete, if any. Tap the trash can icon in the bottom-left corner, then tap "Delete Message" to confirm.
Tap the conversation to open it and then locate the messages you wish to delete. Hold on a text message and tap "More." To delete several messages at once, tap other messages to select them. Tap the trashcan icon and then tap "Delete Message" to confirm and erase the messages.
Go to the "Settings" app, then tap "General." Scroll all the way to the bottom, then tap "Reset." Tap "Erase All Content and Settings," then enter your passcode (if applicable).
