To install/keep different apps on your devices, simply log in into your App Store account on each device then download only the apps you want on each device. You can delete apps you do not want by top-and-holding on the app icon until it "jiggles" then topping on the X.

Restart your device Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then check to see if you can download or update apps.
Just open Safari on iOS 13 or iPadOS 13 and tap any download link on the Internet. Now you'll see a downloads icon on the top right in Safari. Tap that downloads link and a list of recently downloaded items will appear.
Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
Among the common reasons as to why apps won't download on an iOS device are random software glitches, insufficient storage, network connection errors, server downtimes, and restrictions, to name some. In some instances, an app won't download due to unsupported or incompatible file format.
