How to turn off emergency alerts on your Android phone
Go to Settings > Notifications. Scroll to the very bottom of the screen. Under Government Alerts, turn the type of alert on or off.
Apple iPad - Turn Notifications On / Off
To mute a conversation via twitter.com, or from your Twitter for iOS or Android app:
Step 1: Tap to open the Settings app. Step 2: Tap Notifications. Step 3: Scroll down and tap the toggle next to AMBER Alerts listed under Government Alerts. Repeat this step to re-enable this feature later as needed or to toggle off the other two alerts.
Open the Settings app. Tap Focus and select a Focus mode of your choice. Tap Apps under Allowed Notifications. Toggle off Time-Sensitive.
You can do this from the Watch app on your iPhone. Open the “Watch” app, and from the “My Watch” tab, tap the “Notifications” option. Here, tap the app for which you want to configure notifications. Switch the setting to “Allow Notifications” to return to the default option.
Change or turn off iPad sounds
While in game, scroll up from the bottom and you'll get the normal triangle, circle, square buttons but while in game, there's a fourth to the far left. Press it then it gives the option to disable disable alerts during game.
Instead of a blanket muting on notifications, you have to go into each specific message:

You can't. Not unless you're willing to do completely without any security on your phone by removing the passcode and touch/face ID.
