Connect the two computers using the appropriate Mini DisplayPort or Thunderbolt cable. You can use more than one iMac as a display, if each iMac is using a Thunderbolt cable to connect directly to a Thunderbolt port on the other Mac (not the other iMac). Turn off your Mac computer, and position it so that you have access to the video connection. Plug your Samsung monitor's power cord into an outlet and connect one end of the video cable to the video connection on the monitor. The connection will be located on the underside of the screen or on the back of the monitor.
