Some older Macs have an HDMI output port while more recent models will have a Mini-DisplayPort. You can easily find Mini-DisplayPort to HDMI adapters to cast your MacBook screen to a monitor. Most PCs have an HDMI output port. All you have to do is connect your computer to your TV monitor with an HDMI cable.
Connect the two computers using the appropriate Mini DisplayPort or Thunderbolt cable. You can use more than one iMac as a display, if each iMac is using a Thunderbolt cable to connect directly to a Thunderbolt port on the other Mac (not the other iMac). Press Command-F2 on the keyboard of the iMac.
The 2020 M1 MacBook Pro 13 doesn't have an HDMI port but has either two or four Thunderbolt 3 / USB-C ports. You can connect just one external display using either a Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C cable. Again you can use an adapter or a dock if you have a monitor that doesn't support this connection type.

According to Apple, a MacBook Pro can be connected to up to four displays using the Thunderbolt and HDMI ports on the laptop.
Turn off your Mac computer, and position it so that you have access to the video connection. Plug your Samsung monitor's power cord into an outlet and connect one end of the video cable to the video connection on the monitor. The connection will be located on the underside of the screen or on the back of the monitor.
Go to System Preferences > Display and try selecting a different resolution. If that still doesn't work, try restarting your Mac in safe mode and then reset the display resolution to defaults. Another option is to reset the Mac's NVRAM and SMC.
You don't need to have a WiFi network for this to work. Computers with Windows 10 and Android devices with Android 4.2 or a higher version are compatible with Miracast devices. You will need a streaming device that is Miracast-compatible, such as a Roku or an Amazon Fire TV stick.
Use a Dual HDMI Adapter The other way to make more than one external monitor work with an M1 or M2 Mac is by using a dual HDMI adapter. A dual HDMI adapter plugs into your M1 Mac Thunderbolt port and turns it into 2 HDMI ports that you can plug external displays into.
In order to get dual displays working, you'll need to either: (a) connect each monitor seperately to the two Thunderbolt ports on the Mac - directly or through your hub, or (b) get a Thunderbolt 3 hub/dock with dual display capability. Note that you'll need cables that match the inputs your monitors support.
