A Match.com membership is so hard to cancel a California lawsuit alleges it might be illegal.
To do this, simply visit the Manage Subscription section on your Account Settings page. Click the “Cancel Subscription” link. For your security, you'll need to re-enter your password as part of this process.
If you purchased your subscription through iTunes, go to “Settings” on your iPhone. From here tap on your Apple ID (usually your name) and then “Subscriptions”. Tap on “Match.com for iPhone'” and then tap “Cancel Subscription”.
Tap the menu button (three horizontal lines), and scroll down and tap Account. Tap Subscriptions. Tap the Match Then tap Cancel, and then Yes to confirm you want to cancel your payments to that app through your device and Google Play account.
Alternatively, on your iPhone, go to Settings > tap on your name > iTunes & App Store. Tap on your Apple ID > View Apple ID > scroll down to Subscriptions. Tap on iTunes Match > Cancel Subscription.
If you want to stop paying for a subscription, you need to cancel it three days before the renewal date. For Match to accept your refund, you need strong evidence that you did not manage to cancel your subscription on time or that you did not know that the free trial would end up converting into a paid subscription.
You will no longer be able to download like you currently do, and in effect, iTunes will act like Match was never on. You will be able to keep any songs you downloaded, though. So if you upgraded files you uploaded that matched to iTunes-Plus-type files, then you keep those once it cancels.
Hover over this avatar, located on the top right of any Match.com page. Then, click “My Account Settings”. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and you'll see a link that reads “To suspend or delete your account, click here.” At this point, you'll need to choose whether to suspend or delete your account.
